R. Raghavan, a trustee of the Sri Vedantha Desikar Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Mylapore passed
away last night following a heart attack. He was 70.
Over the last week, he had been working on the modalities of conducting this year’s Brahmotsavam.
The annual Vaikasi Brahmotsavam is scheduled to start on May 14 but with pandemic restrictions currently in vogue
it is unlikely that there will be street processions.
