A meeting of Alwarpet and Luz zone residents was held on April 5 to further discuss how plans that Chennai Metro has for this area is going to affect them and how their pleas could be better presented to Central government agencies. The meet was held at a private kalyana mantap.
The meeting’s organiser, Alwarpet resident Dr. Murali says that though a community meeting was held many weeks ago and a delegation met some senior officers at Chennai Metro to present their case, they have not heard from Chennai Metro this far.
