Mylapore Times has announced a summertime media training course for college students.
This free course runs for two weeks for each trainee chosen; he/she must dedicate two hours daily for 10 days. To do field work and write news stories, shoot pictures and videos. Produce reports for the newspaper and create videos for Insta, YouTube – all in Mylapore.
Chosen applicants will be guided by the Editor of Mylapore Times to undertake assignments across the Mylapore – San Thome – R. A. Puram zone. To attend community meetings, go around busy streets, check out stores, go around parks/ playgrounds / temples, etc. Shoot pictures / videos of football camps / temple fests / campus events / community celebrations, etc. Those who do well earn a Certificate of Appreciation.
