Predicament of a small hawker in R. A. Puram

Must we chase away a young flower seller from a pavement corner, who is recovering from a surgery and wants to earn for his daily bread?

Local area staff of the GCC seem to be keen to do this to Dheena who sits on 3rd Cross Road pavement in R. A. Puram and he seems helpless.

Dheena sits under a tree near a parking lot and hawks alongside the GCC Shopping complex.

The GCC staff want him to vacate based on a civic complaint raised a member  the local residents association who charge that the hawker is an encroacher.

Dheena has told the local civic staff that he is looking for shop space and that he will move out in a few weeks time but that he be allowed to continue his small business.
