Ten entries were chosen for prizes in the recently-conducted Mylapore Times Art Contest for children.
Held in connection with the annual Panguni festival of Sri Kapali Temple, the children were given outlines of the famed ‘ther’ procession and asked to colour the entire sheet.
The image was drawn by senior artist Priya Natraj who has also been keen to support such activities.
Here are the ten young people whose artworks won a prize. Prizes have been sent to them last weekend.
