Sewage pipelines were damaged on a stretch of Thiruvengadam Street and at the junction of Devanathan Street, Mandaveli when some civic works were carried out in April.
The work order for repairs took time because this is a ‘bus route road’ and state agencies takes time to approve.
Now, preparations are on to start the repairs.
Local civic staff said that there could be some minor and local traffic diversions due to the work.
