Two-way traffic movement has been restored on San Thome High Road from today, May 9. However, this will be allowed only during non-peak hours, according to a note from Greater Chennai Traffic Police.
During peak hours, the traffic from the north side will be diverted along Marina Loop Road.
Peak hour timings – 7.30 am to 11 am, 5 pm to 8.30 p.m.
Work on Chennai Metro project at some points on San Thome High Road had led to the ‘one-way’ traffic movement restriction.
