The GCC crematorium in Mylapore continues to remain shut despite a note from GCC saying operations would restart after May 30.
On Thursday, on a visit to this place located behind the DGP’s Headquarters, the facility was shut. People who work here said nobody had come by to attend to the issues.
Burials are taking place though.
