Clarinet vidwan A K C Natarajan was decorated with the Murali Nada Lahari title by Tmail Nadu governor R. N. Ravi at an event held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on July 14.
The event was jointly hosted by Dr M Balamuralikrishna Memorial Trust and Bhavans as part of the 7th edition of the Balamurali Nada Mahotsav for 2025.
The Krishnakumars, sishyas of Balamurali, and their sishyas, presented a concert at the hall before the title award ceremony.
Senior artistes T V Gopalakrishnan and Srimushnam V. Raja Rao and Bhavan’s head, K N Ramaswamy offered felicitations.
