A sewage pipe leak had been reported on East Mada Street, Mylapore opposite Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan this Monday morning. The sewage leak is thin but the area has begun to smell bad.
Local Metrowater officials were informed of this issue and resorted to a stop gap solution. “We will work here when traffic movement is thin,” one staffer said.
This area comes under the Division 124
