For Madras Day 2025, My;apore Times has announced its annual project contest for school teams.
The theme of this contest is ‘Streetscapes’; it calls teams of three to choose a street with some character and heritage, study its naming, its background, its facades of the houses and shops / signboards and the people who made the street and the street as it is today.
This research will have to be presented as a Power Point presentation on the contest day ( Eng/ Tamil) – August 8 at Ranade Library, Luz. The top three teams get prizes.
In 2024, the team from TI School, Ambattur bagged the top prize and rolling shield.
