Mylaporeans share their feelings about Sangeetha restaurant which is celebrating 40 years

The launch of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Sangeetha restaurant has tickled many Mylaporeans who have been the restaurant’s patrons for some years now.

The celebrations include a Rs.40 limited spread lunch that is being offered in turns at various Sangeetha places.

Sudhakar Srinivasan mailed to say that his first visit to the Mylapore-based Sangeeta was in April 1989. ‘They never disappoint even after 40+ years. The Mylapore outlet remains my favourite. Pongal, medu vadai and coffee,” he mailed.

Shanthi Vijayan said that the Mylapore restaurant of Sangeetha is the best branch and Sangeetha is the best restaurant in Mylapore. ‘This is our family’s favourite spot,’ she said.

Dhanalakshmi D. G. had a different take, as her response shows: ‘Many congratulations to Sangeetha restaurant on its 40 years. The all time favourite at the Mylapore branch is the cone ice cream.
