One-way violations on east end of Luz Church Road pose danger. Chennai Metro does its bit to curb them

One-way violations on the east end barricaded section of  Luz Church Road are posing dangers to pedestrians and motorists. But violators care less.
The violators who seek quick and easy access to banks, stores and other places off Luz Circle, zip from the Nageswara Rao Park side, eastwards, posing a risk to vehicles that head to the park side from the Luz Circle side.
Since the road is heavily barricaded and takes turns, the violations pose serious danger.
In recent days, Chennai Metro has appointed a contract staff near the IOB bank side to curb these violations during peak hours.
CMRL  had also provided a hand rail from the point where Kamadhenu theatre once stood, till Navasakthi Vinayakar Temple for the sake of the safety of the pedestrians .
This arrangement has been appreciated by the public.
