The road area at the junction of South Mada Street and R. K. Mutt Road has been barricaded after a sewage pipeline is said to have burst and Metrowater staff started addressing the issue on Friday.
Asst. engineer Vasantha Priya was at the spot to supervise the work.

This work may take a couple of days to complete . This area comes under the division 124
This spot has seen many such civic hiccups; once, the road collapsed, and once there was a pipe burst issue.
