A few months ago, a branch of TNSC Bank was opened in Chitrakulam South Street; in a new building that came up in a plot where TUCS functioned.
Recently, on the first floor, a small kalyana mandapam has opened.
This TUCS-owned mandapam has two floors – one for the marriage ceremonies and the other for dining. The hall has a seating capacity of 200 people and the dining area can seat 120 people, we are told.
Rental fee is Rs. 38,600 ( includes GST) for half a day and Rs 59,000 (inc. GST ) for a full day. Charges for electricity, cleaning and maintenance will be extra. Non-vegetarian food is not allowed here.
