Two football teams of St Anthony’s School, Madha Church Road, were declared winners of the city Teynampet zone level football tourney in their respective age categories.
The school’s team won in the under-17 and in the under-19 categories.
The teams have now qualified to take part at the next level where winners of the other city zones and then, districts, will take part.
The school’s PT teacher is Kavitha and the coaching was provided by Nirmal, who runs a private football coaching academy with training in Pattinapakkam.
