The community at Our Lady of Light Church in Luz is celebrating their annual parish feast. The flag was hoisted on August 6.
A first holy communion Mass was held on August 10 morning. The celebrants for the Mass were Fr. Amalraj from St. Peter’s Minor Seminary, Salem diocese, parish priest of the church in Luz, Fr Bernard Lawrence, his assistant, Fr. Rajkumar and former assistant parish priest here, Fr. Justian Driviam.
Fourteen children of the parish – nine boys and five girls received first holy communion.
The feast ends on August 15.
