Balakumar Medicals which was functioning on Luz Church Road for more three decades has moved to Justice Sundaram Road, near Sai Baba Temple, Mylapore.
This well-known pharmacy faced twin issies that caused the relocation – the sale of the property of Kamadhenu Theatre complex for redevelopment ( this is where the shop was located) and the hindrances that barricading for Chennai Metro work in this zone created for the business.
Says Sundaram, the pharmacy owner, “Our business was hectic on Luz Church Road. Now I have to start from scratch in this new area.”
The new location is No. 20, Justice Sundaram Road. Medicines are door delivered.
