Civic activist points to problem of stray dogs in Kesavaperumal West Street – East Mada Street

A man who was having a cup of tea at the Mangollai end of the Mada Street was attacked by a stray dog on Tuesday evening, said community activist C R Balaji, in a complaint to GCC.

Balaji said that the dog tore into the man’s trousers and ran off when shooed.

A day later, GCC staff from its Health department called to follow up.

Balaji says there are many stray dogs in the Kesavaperumal West Street – East Mada Street corner zone. He says he has asked the GCC staff that these dogs be vaccinated and neutered.
