MTC shuts Mandaveli bus terminus. Buses will start from three different points from Aug.27

All buses which used to start at MTC’s Mandaveli terminus will have various start points elsewhere in Mylapore zone, effective August 27.

The campus of the terminus will be part of the massive project to come up here as part of the Chennai Metro project, where besides the  Metro station, two huge shopping-office blocks are planned on either side of R. K. Mutt Road.

The following are the changes based on the orders from the MD of Metropolitan Transport Corporation

Routes – 21, 41D , S 17 , 49K and S5 will start from a space created alongside Mandaveli MRTS railway station

Route  49F will start from Foreshore Estate bus terminus point.

Routes 12 M and 5B will start from Luz Corner, the point alongside Srinivasa Sastri Hall.

Monthly season tickets  and senior citizen passes will be issued from MTC’s Foreshore Estate bus depot.
