The Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations at Nandalala Cultural Centre on Dr. Ranga Road, Mylapore will focus on children.
There is Paada pooja on two days which can be done by children led by adults / parents.
This is on Aug.15 – 8 a m to 10.30 am and again from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. It is also held on Aug.16, 8.00 am to 10.30 am.
The other programmes include – Aug.16, 5 p.m. – Sri Krishna Vaibhavam. Aug.17, 9.30 a.m. – Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Vaibhavam. Aug.17, 6 p.m. – Ratha Utsavam and later that evening, at 6.15 pm, a Carnatic violin concert by Dr. M Narmadha
Special Prasadam is served to all people on these three days.
