Traffic on Kamaraj Salai, San Thome High Road and Dr D G S Dinakaran Road will be diverted on Sunday, August 31 in view of the immersion of Vinayaka images in the sea off Pattinapakkam.
Vehicles headed to San Thome and R A Puram / Mandavelipakkam from the QMC side will be diverted into Dr. R K Salai and V M Street via Luz.
Vehicles from the Adyar side headed to San Thome will be diverted via Thiruvengadam Street – Devanathan Street – R K Mutt Road.
The Vinayaka images-carrying vans and lorries start coming in by 11 am and this operation lasts till about dusk.
