Greater Chennai Corporation had set a deadline to attend to all patch works
and plastering of streets and roads that needed attention even as the monsoon set in
We noticed that some road plastering work had commenced in Luz Avenue, behind Nageswara Rao Park zone and on Canal Bank Road; off the bridge across Buckingham Canal near Saibaba Temple zone ( as seen in the photo here).
Patchwork carried out when it is raining does not help greatly since the patch often loosens and wears thin in the rain and continuous traffic on busy streets / road.
