A motorcycle that was being driven on Kalvivaru Street, Mylapore caught fire this Monday evening ( Dec.22)
There were two people on the bike. The rider noticed a spark of fire from the fuel tank of the bike and jumped off and so did the pillion rider. The fire engulfed the bike quickly .
Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire; some parts of the bike were burnt. Traffic here was curtailed for some time.
