Carols, camp-fire and dinner. Christmas event at St. Thomas English Church

The choir of CSI St. Thomas English Church in San Thome presented an evening of carol singing by performing a Christmas Cantata – ‘The Beginning of Christmas’ by Charles L Towler, on Sunday, December 21.

The evergreen carol, ‘Silent Night’ was sung in candlelight inside the 183-year-old church and was a highlight of the evening.

Then followed the much-awaited Christmas campfire, lit by the presbyter Rev. Anitha Christian in the church premises, as the congregation gathered to sing together. They also played some games during the fellowship.

The evening ended with a delicious Christmas dinner.
