Even as families do the rounds of canteens at sabha premises this margazhi, away from the sabha halls, Kamalambal Catering Services has been offering a special Margazhi Virundhu at a hall in R. A. Puram.
What sets apart this space is that it is organised in a manner which allows guests to dine in comfort and the waiting time in the queue at rush hour time is kept to a minimum.
The menu of the elai sapad, which changes daily, showcases Tamikl Nadu’s food as well as the delights of other states, and includes some surprise twists.
Sunday’s menu ( Dec.28) included Bulbul Baklava and Pineapple jam, Seeraga sambha biryani and Gujarati sabzi and Chettinad payiru kozhambu. Some 30 items for the spread.
The lunch is served at Sai Aravind Community Hall, R.A. Puram and is on from December 25 to 31, 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Price – Rs 600 per person.
