CSI Church of the Good Shepherd in Mylapore hosted its ecumenical Christmas Carols event on November 29 evening and set the tone for the season of Christmas.
In spite of the heavy rain, many youth choirs from across the city took part in the event. It was an evening of Christmas music and fellowship.
Each team was dressed in colour co-ordinated outfits. They sang traditional and contemporary carols to the accomplishment of live music.
The event was organised by the Youth Fellowship group of the parish under the guidance of the church pastor Rev. D. S. A. Samuel.
Youth leaders Benita Sherlin J and Brightus played hosts, along with their young colleagues.
