Grand Sweets and Snacks on North Mada street , Mylapore has closed for good owing to poor footfall .
When this place was launched, it served ‘tiffin’ snacks and meals and was one of the popular restaurants in this part of Mylapore.
Later, the restaurant discontinued the meals and tiffin section.
Coffee shops and small restaurants as well as roadside snacks hawkers pose a stiff competition to restaurants like Grand Sweets in the heart of Mylapore.
