Mylapore MLA, Dha Velu and some cadres of the DMK party, garlanded the statue of Thiruvalluvar in Mylapore on a day that remembers this saint-philosopher.
The statue is located inside a small traffic junction island park opposite the Sanskrit College, off Royapettah High Road.
