The community at Our Lady of Guidance Church in R.A. Puram will celebrate the 444th edition of the annual feast of their patron saint, Saint Lazarus from January 15 to 25
The celebration will commence with the hoisting of the flag on January 15 at 6 pm. There will be a car procession and 4 statues will be taken around the streets surrounding the church.
Novena Masses will be held every evening at 6.15 pm.
The grand car procession where 9 statues will be blessed and taken out in procession will be held on January 24 after the 6.15 pm Mass.This procession usually ends around midnight and attracts a lot of crowd.
On Sunday, January 25, there will be 4 Masses, at 6 am, 7.30 am, 9.15 am and 5.15 pm. The 9.15 am mass will be in English. After this Mass, all the 9 statues will be taken out in procession.
After the evening Mass held at 5.15, the festival theme flag will be lowered and the statue of Mother Mary will be taken out in procession in the church zone.
