The 444th edition of the annual feast of saint Lazarus is being celebrated at Our Lady of Guidance church in R.A. Puram from January 15 onwards.
The grand car procession where 9 statues will be blessed and taken out in procession will be on January 24 after the 6.15 pm Holy Mass. This procession, which goes around this zone, usually ends around midnight and attracts a big crowd.
On Sunday, January 25, there will be four Masses. After the 9.15 am Holy Mass, the 9 statues will be taken out in procession again. After the evening mass held at 5.15, the flag will be lowered and the lone statue of Mother Mary will be taken out in procession in the church zone.
