Residents of Velayutha Raja Street in Mandaveli have reported that a few crows dropped on to the street and were either very sick or half dead.
Community activist Ganga Sridhar said on Thursday evening that she reported the matter to GCC and health staff came around, removed the dead crows and disinfected the area.
This is the second instance of crows dropping dead reported from this area.
Avian flu cases have been reported from some parts of the city the past month. People are advised not to touch the birds with bare hands.
