Fatima Nursery and Primary School in R. A. Puram had its 55th Annual Day celebration on February 23 evening at the St. Lazarus Multi Purpose Hall.
Fr. S.X. Amalraj, spiritual director of St. Thomas Minor Seminary, San Thome was the chief guest and Amirda Varshini, ward 126 councillor of Greater Chennai Corporation was the special guest.
The students, dressed in costumes, staged a cultural show of song and dance events and skits. The highlight of the evening was a themed skit on mobile phone awareness and dangers it posed.
The event was organised by the school correspondent Fr. T. Anthony Raj, headmistress T. Julie and the teachers of the school.
