Traffic Police recently arranged for special lighting on a section of the borders on the flyover in Alwarpet which links TTK Road with C. P. Ramaswamy Road.
The blue and white lighting is strapped on either edges of the road at the section off Narada Gana Sabha and where the flyover curves at its topmost point.
Police said the lights burning at night alert motorists; there have been cases where drivers have had a narrow escape while negotiating the curve.
