Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Mandaveli ( the academic centre of Telugu Mahajana Samajam) celebrated held its 45th annual sports meet at Rajarathinam Stadium, Egmore on February 13.
The chief guest was V. S. Raahul, chess Grand Master.
Other dignitaries included the office bearers of Telugu Mahajana Samajam, K. Anilkumar Reddy, president, K. Anand Kumar, vice-president, V. Govind, secretary and correspondent, R. Elango, vice-principal, V. Sheela, headmistress, and Lekha Stephen, co-ordinator. sports.
Physical education trainer Dilly Babu presented the school’s sports record.
The meet included sports and cultural events for students and parents. Godhavari House was declared the best for the year.
