Naam Tamilar Katchi ( NTK) has chosen R. L. Arun to be its candidate in the Mylapore constituency for the forthcoming elections to the state Assembly due soon.
Flex banners featuring Arun’s image has come up in some parts of this zone. His Twitter biodata states he is based in Coimbatore with a degree in engineering.
One media outlet said that NTK leader Seeman has chosen to field candidates from the Brahmin community in some constituencies of the state.
Meanwhile, the buzz elsewhere is that Dr J S Rajkumar, founder of Lifeline Hospitals may be the candidate of the BJP in Mylapore. The surgeon has not presented himself yet as a man of the BJP but in recent months, has held many social and community events in Mylapore and plastered the area with posters, featuring him, almost in campaign mode.
