The petrol bunk on Dr Radhakrishnan Salai opposite Hotel Woodlands saw a steady stream of cars and bikes here to fill petrol.
There were no signs of rationing petrol and though the bunk was busy all morning at dawn. there was order.
Staff at Hotel Saravana Bhavan, off AVM Rajeswari Kalyana Mantap, which is a haunt for walkers who are here for a cup of coffee as early as 5 a.m., said gas is available here and cooking has been done smartly.
