MTCÂ has erected a bus shelter on Sringeri Mutt Road which became a nodal point for some bus services following disruption and diversions due to Chennai Metro project.
But this simple facility has come up many weeks after the new nodal point was launched.
MTC dismantled the old bus shelter and had installed the same at a point opposite Mandaveli MRTS station. Seating is also provided.
But one other issue needs MTC’s attention. There is no washroom facility for MTC crew; this is a must for buses on key routes start from here and crew take a a break here round the day.
