Preparation of food has started on Monday at many places in and around the heart of Mylapore to cater to what could be the biggest attedance at the fest – for the grand arabathumoovar procession.
Pandals have come up in R A Puram and Abiramapuram, in Mylapore and on R K Road, stalls set by voluntary groups who will serve food and water after 12 noon.
