Scholarships for students keen on architecture study. In memory of Prof. Solomon Vedamuthu

Dr. Prof. Solomon Vedamuthu was a well-known architect and a unique educator in the field of architecture and design.
He has trained thousands of students over 40 years.
His teaching methods were unconventional and he was often referred as modern dronacharya in the profession, say his admirers.
Prof. Solomon Vedamuthu passed away in 2025,
The Live Lines NATA and Design Centre in Alwarpet was founded in his honour, as a tribute to his life, his teachings, and his extraordinary contribution to design education.
Led by Mylapore-resident Bhavna, who was mentored by him for a decade and taught alongside him for years, the centre is built on the same principles he lived by — observation, discipline, independent thinking, and
integrity in design.
As its first initiative, the centre has established the Prof. Solomon Scholarships.
Aspiring students undergo an entrance test, and the top five performers are awarded scholarships toward their coaching fees, ensuring that dedication and potential are supported and encouraged.
The next batch for NATA and JEE B. Arch entrance exam preparation at Live Lines NATA and Design
Centre commences on March 28, offering structured guidance rooted in observation, creativity, and
independent thinking.
The entrance exams for architecture – NATA – will come up in April – June. This exam can be taken of any Friday/ Saturday from April 4, until June.
