Candidates of leading political parties contesing in the Mylapore consttuency have filed their nominations.
This afternoon, the BJP candidate Tamilisai Soundarajan filed her papers at the Tahsildar’s office off Greenways Road, R. A. Puram. She was accompanied by union minister Piyush Goyal.
Last weekend, the DMK candidate, Dha Velu had filed his nomination papers here.
The NTK and TVK candidates, R L Arun and Venkataramanan also filed their papers.
Today was the day of closing of filing nomnation papers across the state.
All these candidates are undertaking door to door campaigns across the constiteuncy, mornings and eveminsg.
