Looks like renovation of Nageswara Rao Park has either been suspended or is moving at snail’s pace.
The past week, we did not notice workers inside the park or any evidence of sustained work.
It is not clear if the election related code of conduct has anything to do with ongoing civic work.
Most areas of the park now look bare after the soil was cleared, bushes and small plants cleared and only large trees left untouched.
Walkers have resigned themselves to walk on the streets of East Abiramapuram.
