Saraswathi Educational Culture and Charitable Trust is hosting its 8th Vasant Utsav, a dance fest from May 1 at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore.
Senior dancer and guru Chitra Visveswaran and P. Jayaraman, Dy. Commissioner and E. O. Kapaleeswarar Temple will be the chief guests.
Two Vedic scholars and three Bharathanatyam exponents will be honoured on the opening day. Recitals will be held daily from 6.45 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. till May 10.
