Sri Thiagaraja Sangeetha Vidwath Samajam is holding Sri Thiagaraja Jayanthi Celebration and conferment of ‘Sangeetha Seva nirta’ title on five eminent vidwans on May 9 at 6 p.m.
K. Vaidiyanathan, editor, ‘Dinamani’ will inaugurate the event.
There will be special homam and abhishekam on May 9 at 5.30 a.m.
There will be music concerts held daily at 6.30 p.m. Open to all.
There will also be ekadina laksharchana to lord Rama on May 14 at 8.30 a.m. Tickets for Laksharhana are priced at Rs.100.
