N. Panchapakesan passed away on June 8. He was 66 years old.
He was a resident of Mylapore for more than 50 years.
Panchapakesan also known as Kannan was born in Kumbakonam. He moved to Chennai and joined his brother N. Ramadurai of ‘Mylapore Medicals’.
After the demise of Ramadurai in 1992, Panchapakesan continued to run this medical shop on East Mada Street till 2007.
He is survived by his wife Kamakshi, sons Rajesh and Magesh and daughter Priya.
