Chettinad Vidyashram won the Overall Swimming Championship in the south zone swimming competition held in Oakridge International School, Hyderabad.
Arun Thaneer Malai (Under 16 Boys) won 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals. Shruthi Mahalingam (Under 16 girls) bagged 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal.
In the under 14 category Harish Raj won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 Bronze medals and Chandru bagged 2 silver medals.
Under 19 Girls, Gayathri won 5 silver medals and Under 12 Boys, Ahamed Azraq won 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.
In Under 14 (4 x 100 mts and 4 x 59 mts free style relay) the school won the gold medal.
Over 79 schools participated in the competitions.
