Now you can get any work related to the Voter Identity Card and registration in the electoral rolls done at a neighbourhood internet centre.
This follows an arrangement made by the State Election Commissioner Praveen Kumar with select centers which will be treated as Voter Registration Centers.
Thirumurugan, a partner of K.S.S Internet Center in Mylapore and member of TNICOA ( Tamil Nadu Internet Centre Owners Association ) says that people can trust the designated centres to process whatever if required of them.
There is a small fee for each service. The rates are fixed by the Election Commission
“This initiative came from our side, ” says Thirumurugan. “We are also helping the State Election Commission to smarten their own website so that the interface is simple and easy to use.”
These Voter Registration Centers are authorised by Election Commission of India .

(1) Inclusion of Name – Form 6 – Rs.10 (2) Deletion of Name – Form 7 – Rs.10 (3) Correction of Particulars – Form 8 -Rs.10 (4) Change of Address – Form 8A. – Rs.10 (5) Printing of Electoral Rolls – Rs. 3 per page (6) Search Services – Rs 2 (7) Registration of Complaint – Rs.10
