Choir groups to celebrate achievement at Oct.26 event

The 3rd Asia Pacific Choir Games were held at Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia recently. Two groups trained by Dr. Sudha Raja, senior instructor of Madras Youth Choir and disciple of late music composer-director M. B. Srinivasan emerged with flying colours. Both teams won the bronze medal from among 150 choir groups that participated from 18 countries.

The two teams were Sargam Children’s Choir and Sargam Female Choir. To celebrate their victory, a small celebration has been organised on October 26 at 3 p.m. The venue is Arkay Convention Centre, R. H. Road, Luz.
