Starting December 4, a week-long festival on ‘divine composers’ in memory of T. R. Subramaniam will take place in Mylapore.
Some of the composers are Veena Seshanna, Badrachala Ramadas, Mannargudi Sambasiva Bhagavatar, Annamacharya, Tadepalli Subramanya Sastri and Arunachalakavi.
The event is hosted by Chennai Fine Arts and co-sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. The programme will be inaugurated at 6.30 p.m. by Bharatanatyam exponent Nandini Ramani and musicologist Mysore Subramanya.
