The Srimad Andavan of Srirangam, Sri Srirangaramanuja Mahadesikan is launching the 24th Thiruppavai Mahotsavam at the Ashram on Desika Road, Alwarpet at 10.30 am today, Thursday.
A series of Thiruppavai Upanyasam discourses by eminent scholars will then follow and be on till about 4 p.m.
Every evening, there are concerts here beginning with Sumitra Vasudev’s recital at 6.30pm. The fest is on till Jan.19.
